Some of us Southern California surfers struggle with the daily challenges of living in tight quarters. Having no garage, backyard or balcony creates major storage limitations that calls for immediate creative measures, especially when it comes to drying wetsuits.
Hanging wetsuits from the front metal screen door seemed optimal until rust and a letter from HOA appeared. This is when I decided to hit Home Depot.
After strolling the aisles I came across what I thought was a viable solution -- a $7 shower hook offering a suction cup with a circumference about the size of a cue ball. Apparently it can hold up to 14 lbs, which seemed to be plenty. Sure enough, a completely doused wetsuit attached to the shower hook hangs and dries no problem! It's been in use for 3 months now without the defeat from gravity.
If you happen to suffer from a similar situtation, I have no hesitation in recommending this un-marketed surf utility product.
